This is the same upload.am platform — cabinet, official apps, no-ads download pages, password links, Inbox and VPN — with one shared pool instead of five personal accounts.
The owner keeps the folders. Staff work inside the folders they were given. Clients send files through a company Inbox and never take a seat. Every person in the team still has the website, Windows and Android on the same login. Checkout is not live yet: register, then the site admin assigns Team.

Clients never take a seat
Company Inbox is a public drop link. A client, a contractor, a journalist sends a file without registering. That file lands in the folder you chose.

View, upload or manage — per person, per folder. A junior designer does not need the whole archive.
No ads on what you send
The download page a client opens has no third-party banners. That is the same rule as the rest of upload.am, including Free.
Apps and VPN for every seat
Staff get the website, Upload.am for Windows, Upload.am for Android and the no-logs VPN. Team does not lock those behind a personal upgrade.
Links the office can actually control

How Team actually works
Do client uploads use up a seat?
No. The company Inbox lets anyone drop a file into a folder you choose. They do not need an account and they do not take a seat. Seats are only for staff who log in.
Does the team get the same product as a personal account?
Yes. Cabinet, official Windows and Android apps, no-ads download page, unlimited speed, password-protect this file, limit number of downloads, burn-after-download, group links, remote upload, versions, trash, personal Inbox plus company Inbox, public API and the no-logs VPN. Team adds a shared pool, roles and folder rights on top of that stack.
Is there advertising on download pages the team sends?
No. Team links use the same clean download page as every other plan. Recipients see the file, the brand and the message. Not banners.
Do staff get the VPN and the apps?
Yes. Every seat is a full upload.am account. Windows, Android and the no-logs VPN are included. They are not a Team upsell.
What happens to team files if I remove someone?
Team files stay with the organisation. The person keeps only their personal cabinet. Access to team folders is gone the moment you remove the seat.
Can a member see folders they were not given?
No. Members see only folders an owner or admin granted. Owners and admins see everything.
How many seats, and can we get more?
The included seat count depends on the Team plan. The site admin can raise it for your organisation without a separate checkout. Checkout itself is not live yet.
What happens near the storage limit?
The owner gets email at 80% and 95% of the pool, before uploads start failing.
