Everything below comes with the free account and every paid plan.
upload.am is cloud storage and backup with built-in secure file sharing. Every plan, including Free, has the web cabinet, official Windows and Android apps, a no-ads download page, unlimited download speed, password-protected links with download limits, file versions, a no-logs VPN and a public API. Higher plans add space and bigger files, share one plan between family members, and give teams roles, projects, e-signatures, data rooms, backups and enterprise security (SSO, legal hold). Start with 25 GB free. No card required.
Drag a file on the homepage and get a link right away — up to 25 GB per day from your IP, no registration required. Files follow the Free plan's retention; sign up any time to keep them longer and manage them from a cabinet.
Free covers most needs: 25 GB, files kept while you use your account. Lite (250 GB) and Plus (1 TB) are for personal storage, Premium (2 TB) and GOLD (5 TB) for large files and extras such as e-signatures and backups. Family shares one plan between up to 10 people, Business is for teams, and Enterprise is for companies that need SSO, legal hold and an SLA. A Lifetime plan is a single payment.
Personal is for one person. Family shares one plan between several people, each with their own login and private files. Business is for teams: roles, guests, projects, e-signatures and data rooms. Enterprise adds SSO, legal hold, sensitive data detection, payment by invoice and a contract with an SLA.
The comparison table on this page shows it feature by feature and is built from the same settings the product uses. A feature that is not in your plan is closed in the cabinet with a message that names the plan where it is included. Free, Keep and Lite include the storage and link features only.
Card and crypto checkouts handle smaller amounts, so for the bigger Business and Enterprise plans a year is paid by bank transfer against an invoice: we issue a PDF invoice and a service agreement with an SLA, and the plan starts when the transfer arrives. A year costs 10 months instead of 12. Monthly payments by card or crypto stay available.
Your account drops back to the Free plan's limits. Files already stored stay in place as long as they fit under the Free plan's retention and storage — nothing is deleted just because a paid plan lapsed.
You can upgrade at any time. It does not affect files you have already uploaded, only the limits that apply going forward. A plan runs to its end date; there is no self-service downgrade yet, so write to support if you need to change sooner.
No. Crypto and Lifetime payments are one-time with no renewal. A card plan renews monthly until you cancel it yourself on the payment processor's unsubscribe page, and there is no minimum term.
GOLD raises storage from 2 TB to 5 TB and the per-file limit from 100 GB to 300 GB, allows more Drop Rooms and Client Portals (50 portals instead of 5), and adds backups, work tools (clients, projects, knowledge base, automations) and block-level sync.
Yes. In your cabinet open Upgrade → Add storage or seats: add space in blocks of 100 GB, more Team space (Team owners), or extra Team seats. An add-on is paid with crypto, works for 12 months from payment and stacks with the next ones. When it ends your files are not deleted — you just cannot upload more until you are under the limit. Family members use the plan owner's space, so the owner adds it.
Yes, with crypto: on the Upgrade page choose 5 or 10 years of a plan at a discount (shown next to the price). It is a single payment with no automatic renewal, and the time is added to what you already have. Keep and Lifetime plans do not need it.
