How Team actually works
Do client uploads use up a seat?
No — the company inbox link lets anyone drop a file into a folder you choose, with no account and no seat consumed. Seats are only for staff who need to log in.
What happens to team files if I remove someone?
Nothing — team files belong to the organisation, not the person. Removing a member only removes their access; their personal files (outside the team) stay with them.
Can a member see folders they were not given access to?
No — members only see folders an owner or admin explicitly granted them. Owners and admins see everything by default.
How many seats do we get, and can we get more?
Five staff seats are included. If you need more, the site admin can raise the limit for your team without going through a separate payment flow.
What happens if we go over the storage pool?
The owner gets an email warning at 80% and again at 95% usage — before anyone is blocked from uploading.
